Miya Garcia’s mom shared that Miya is going the extra mile to invite her favorite person, Drake, to her Sweet 16 birthday party in December. They placed a billboard invitation on I-10 in Jacinto City, Texas, with a flashing message that says, “Drake, you’re invited to my Sweet Sixteen.”
The billboard features images of Miya and Drake. The invitation also includes Ramirez’s TikTok and Instagram usernames and is signed as being from “your biggest fan.” Miya came up with this idea after hearing that Drake had purchased a home in the area, which he mentioned during a concert last month. She hopes that he will see the invite and reach out soon.
Drake has expressed his love for Houston and revealed his plans to establish roots there during a concert in September. He announced this during a Houston concert stop, stating, “I finally, finally after all these years, found me a place in Houston, Texas, so y’all will be seeing me a lot.” This made Miya’s decision to invite him to her Sweet 16 even more meaningful.
Miya herself was initially uncertain if the idea of the billboard would come to fruition, but her mom made it happen. Miya expressed her surprise and delight, saying, “I was really surprised. I really loved it.” It’s clear that she is excited about the possibility of having her favorite artist, Drake, at her birthday celebration.
